When I designed "Caroline", it was in the dead of winter and I was channeling sunsets and a warm beach. "Caroline" grew out of that need for surf and sun. Then, in walks Kelly...getting married in Key West this June...a perfect combination for this watercolor design. The important piece that Kelly wanted to convey was that yes, her wedding was in Key West, but this was not a casual and informal destination wedding. So please, no shorts and flip flops on her big day!

The challenge was to create something reminiscent of Key West with bright vibrant colors and bling, yet, still be formal enough for her big day. Her colors of coral and blue were a fantastic start. The little touch of blue sparkle and a map of Key West as her envelope liner completed all the details. Of course no Key West wedding invitation would be complete without a little nod to the beach with conch shells and palm trees.

I have had the priveledge of working with some incredible clients on incredible weddings, but Nina and Jeremy's wedding is something spectacular. I worked almost exclusively with the bride's mother, Hazel, who knew her daughter's taste down to exact details. Every detail of this wedding was so well-done and perfectly designed for their "butterfly-enchanted garden" theme. Down to the gorgeous ceremony, to the hanging paper butterflies from the ceiling at their reception that almost seemed to float around Nina and Jeremy during their first dance.

I could go on and on, but will let the amazing photography do the storytelling.
